MacWay offers industrial weighing and scale products, custom build solutions, repair service contracts and yearly weights and measures calibrations. We also specialise in supporting marine motion compensated weighing equipment and processing equipment and lines for the fishing industry.
Our team has a diverse range of high-tech skills required for design/build projects. This includes process automation and machine integration with PLCs and software programming. We design and build complete packing and integrated processing lines, with all the resources to provide a complete solution. Lines can include existing machinery or parts of existing machinery. We can also rebuild or update the controls of older equipment control then integrate the overall line into one system.

Joining Atrax Group
In December 2023, MacWay became part of the Atrax Group of companies. This partnership came about through a joint venture partnership between MacWay Scales owner and managing director, Andrew McKenzie, and Kevin Maurice, the founder and managing director of Atrax Group – which is the largest manufacturer of industrial scales and supporting software solutions in the Southern Hemisphere. MacWay now trades as Atrax South Island Limited, with Andrew at the helm as the general manager.
